Y’all are over thinking it. The 300 and 350 will be perfectly fine for the Prl turbo kit, the people wanting to push the limits will want to go with the 400 and beyond.

Idk what option I'm going with but the goal is to make 400hp. But my car fund is kinda low xD so I might have to wait till next season :(

If I do wait. I might set my goal higher and go full forged internals with the fuel upgrade as well. I'd really love a spare 1.5 SI engine to pop up on ebay.. rather risk it with a spare.

Dont go 350, go 400 if you are planning on the turbo kit. Why even chance it. People are complaining the 350 is crap already, though the whole clutchmaster setup may just be garbage. And from what I've read the 400 is still a pretty good clutch for the daily just some slight chatter in reverse.

Clutch TQ ratings are rated at the engine crank and not at the wheels. Just something to think about/factor in when buying a clutch

She's already bought. And I've heard mixed reviews. Some have no issues and others have alot. And I spoke with clutchmasters.. It can handle the turbo low option turbo kits. I told them what my power goal was.

I wonder if the Type R clutch/flywheel that E-Man is running also throws codes?

Also, wasn't there a lightened dual-mass flywheel option that one vendor was piloting?

Clutchmaster has it ready to buy and I believe the vendor is Team3d or on insta it's fkxracing

Eman said no codes on his set up on the Facebook pages.

Yeah but he had to make adjustments to make it fit. I mean it works for him and that's pretty cool but I don't think everyone wants to pay more to do adjustments.

400 horsepower anyone?! Oh, and the pre-order is now up and active HERE!

We finally got the chance to test out the GTX2867R GEN2 with "small" .64 A/R turbine housing and made numerous 390-398 whp and 370+ ft/lb tq hits! This little 1.5L engine is proving to be very stout thus far! We have a few more tricks up our sleeves to see if we can break the 400 whp barrier with this setup on Monday! ;) New power record anyone?!

Here are some comparisons of the GT2860RS vs the GTX2867R GEN2. In our opinion, the GTX2860R GEN2 (that we didn't get to test) with the .64 A/R housing will be the best bang-for-the-buck setup for stock engine setups!

After doing some Google research, it looks like general consensus is that the GTX2863 has all of the low end power of the GTX2860 with more top end. Will this possibly be an option @PRL Motorsports ?

So with the gtx2860 and .64 a/r housing, which clutch would be best? Fx350?
