I have a mishimoto catch can installed and I just ordered the prl flex fuel kit. What I am wondering is has anyone installed both together successfully or have any tips on how to make both work.

I could swear I have seen someone installed it but I cant seem to find the pictures so as to inspect it closely to make it work.

Any help would be appreciated

Same question. Didn't see your post. Here's mine; unfortunately, it's gotten no response either.

Did you figure something out? I've caught enough over the life of my car that I can't imagine going without a can. I'm also not wed to the can I have if a suitable alternative doesn't compete with the flex fuel kit for mounting.

After installing the flex fuel kit it is definitely gonna require a custom bracket that will push it out or it will have to be repositioned to the driver side with a new bracket and make new hoses

If you had a link itd be appreciated but the only one I've seen successfully mounted together is with the siri moto flex fuel kit. Not with the prl kit

Anyone good at fabbing metal parts?
I'd pay to keep my existing can and use the flex fuel kit I just received.
It's like there are no other cans specific for this car... So anyone with a can has the same one? Where would someone mount one of the universal cans?

I just bent my bracket by hand and moved it to the left. Originally I used the plastic nut holding the heat shield to the firewall. Later I snapped off the treaded part and drilled it out. Then I drill a second hole and inserted two treaded rivet nuts.

This is what mine looks like....

If you guys don't wanna go through the hassle of altering your bracket and doing custom stuff, zipties do just as good.

I used the plastic clip because those aren't really threads that a bolt will go onto. Thats also the reason I later snapped it off and drilled it out for a rivet nut.

Flex Fuel V2 here. Moved the bracket to align with the stud and threaded a bolt on the other side with and impact tool.

Were the hoses for the catch can long enough?
