I understand PRL is making a Big Turbo Kit and all their testing is done on the 10th Gen SI. Is it possible to use this kit on the Civic Hatchback Sport? Reason I ask is because its near impossible to find a Type-R in my area for a reasonable price, to the point I could buy the Civic Hatchback Sport and the Turbo Kit and still be way under the price.

I assume things like not having an LSD will affect the Hatch over the SI, but what are the opinions of the experts here? I'm looking to upgrade out of my 2010 Si into a hatch as I play a lot of hockey, and maneuvering my gear in and out of the back seat is getting frustrating.

Just make sure you get a hatch sport with the 6MT. You'll have major limits if you go the CVT route with that turbo.

Major limits as in the CVT will be left in the driveway if you stomp on the gas lol.

It will eat itself at the power levels the upgraded turbo would give you. you would need to severely limit the tq down low.

Ahh i see, thanks. Ill guess ill just have to stick to other parts to increase performance. The 2018 is my daily, the dream is a 99 EG to be my Frankenstein and get that to a 10 second car. #thedream

you can max a cvt on a tune alone if you want. Run some ethanol and you are teetering on the edge. I run e30 blend.
