So since the last post I ordered a Prodrager Hyperflow exhaust from Thailand. I got the Titanium tailpipe version and the process was pretty smooth via Instagram. I was worried it would be too loud so they added a resonator up front to make it a "quiet" version.

It arrived and I installed it expecting it to be a little loud and..... It was. I had a few Vibrant resonators (bottle & Ultra quiet) ready and added them in and solved the loudness issue, tone is very mild now.

I was in Japan visiting family and for a funeral and ordered these while there. I couldn't come back empty handed.

Additionally, more recently I added in the rear seat vents with a kit and also added in a CVT Paddle Shifter Activation Kit from Mikstoreph.com. I had to acquire a TCM and rear Steering wheel trim (part # 78518-TBA-A21ZA) from a 2020 Civic with Paddle Shifters and they work like OEM now.

Hello sir,
beautiful build. I was going through you thread build and was curious where you got that carbon fiber trunk piece?

Thank you Sir. The carbon trim is a Seibon part labeled as "for FK8 only" but does work for the FK7. You can find it on their site filtering for FK8 Type R.

The past weekend kicked my butt with suspension upgrades. I replaced the front lower control arm rubber pressed bushings with Powerflex replacement bushings. Was not an easy task. Tried using a ball joint press tool, but couldn't get it to fit. I then used a torch to heat up the bushing and burn the rubber, force the bushing out, cut a slice in the outer sleeve and hammered away surely irritating my neighbors. Combined it with Hardrace Q0462 camber ball joints. Not many bring this up, but the ball joints in Si's, Sports, and some sedans are M14 and readily available. The Hatchback LX/EX uses a M12 ball joint and so far the only one I could find that fits is from Hardrace.

I swapped out my Swift front springs on the Bilstein B6 struts with Tein H-tech springs as an attempt to raise the front up a little and soften it up. Finally got my rear Bilstein B6 shocks in and threw them in along with a little rear height adjustment on the rear Largus springs.

I was expecting a few more bushings/bearings from Hardrace-Europe for the rear knuckle and lower control arm to put those in and get an alignment, but instead received NSX toe arms 🤦🏻‍♂️.

I hate to pay for an alignment twice, but the way the car is now I have to get an alignment asap. I return shipped the NSX toe arms to the Netherlands and wait for the NSX customer to return my bushings/bearings to Hardrace-Europe in the Netherlands before them getting shipped back to me.

Apologize for the long post, it was a lot of jacking the car up and taking wheels off the past several days. Hoping the Hardrace parts come in sooner vs later and finish the rear up. I like the way the car rides now, but might consider putting the rear Tein H-tech springs back in depending on how much my toddler complains.

How is the ride height and feel with swift/bilstein combo? I have the same setup waiting to be installed when it warms up a bit. Thanks.

The Bilstein B6's are awesome, really improve the ride without being rough. I really liked the Swifts, but I bought them used from a member on the forums and had a few issues. The spring finish was worn and was getting a weird clunk like noise after installing and later figured out it was the coil bind. Added in TEIN spring silencers for both front & rear and noise went away. The rear I couldn't get an even ride height, for some reason the right side was higher. Didn't effect performance but my ocd wouldn't let me leave it be, so I swapped out to a Largus 5k adjustable rear setup. The front Swift springs I kept until recently, I had a 1 finger gap in the front and was a little low with my Mugen lip, so I went back to og Tein H-tech springs for the front.

Maybe the used Swift springs I bought were overly worn, as the paint wore off, visible corrosion, and possibly sagging? I'm a bad reference, but I've always had great experience with Swift Springs and regret buying them used. The front strut removal/disassembly/reassembly/reinstall is kind of a pain so I don't want to mess with it again for a long time.

The Bilsteins are the biggest feel improvement I've noticed between different spring setups. Hard to explain, but the ride is more composed and feels tighter.

Thanks for the detailed post. I see alot of people saying bilsteins made their ride harsher. I will get the sleeves before installation.

Finally got my Hardrace rear LCA hardened rubber bushings and rear knuckle bearings in this week so got around to installing them this past week. Bushings were a pain again, but not quite as bad as the install of the Powerflex front lower control arm bushing. After the install and test drive, I'm pretty amazed at the noticeable difference. The car's ride and drive is so smooth now. It's actually quieter than the OEM setup. The steering and handling feels much more precise. I did recently swap to Whiteline springs, I needed something stiffer than the Tein H-techs.

I ended up swapping the tail pipe section of my Prodrager exhaust back to stock mufflers. I wanted some quiet for a little bit and had OC Muffler Man make a flange so it's easy to swap back and forth. With no more center exit exhaust, I put the Euro/UK Sportline diffuser cover back on the diffuser to cover the center up and look cleaner.

Not much of an audio guy, but a friend noticed my JBL under seat sub bass roll off as the volume was turned up and recommended a LC2i. The install was pretty simple swapping my LOC to the LC2i and was able to install the Bass boost knob in a blank switch next to the ECON button.

Had a change of mood and put my Seibon carbon hood back on and then I started to look at dressing up the engine bay a little bit to make it prettier and paid a visit to Chasing Js to test fit an Oil Dipstick with my PRL inlet pipe to see if it'd clear. Added bonus of the Ti dipstick being much easier to read vs the OE orange dipstick. Met with Dom at Chasing Js, really cool and knowledgeable, you can tell his dedication to his craft. Got to chit chat with him and was nice to talk with a down to earth business owner and get to know a little more about the company. Also picked up a washer reservoir cap and definitely pick up more stuff in the future.

Took the car out to refuel with a mix of 100 unleaded, E85, and a splash of 91and got to take some photos this morning of a clean car while picking up milk for the toddler.

Got a couple more engine bay dress up items, Chasing Js radiator cap, battery tie hooks, 27Won fender shrouds, and additional titanium bolts, nuts, and washers. Got to play around with a blow torch and learned a little how to flame anodize the raw titanium bolts and washers. Made the mistake of applying too much heat to a couple and learned they turn light blue instead of the dark blue/purple look I was going for.

Really like the 27Won fender shrouds over the plastic OE wannabe shrouds and just placed my order for the radiator shroud to match.

I ended up picking up a set of Skunk2 Ultra Stage 1 cams to throw in and replace my Si Intake cam and base Exhaust cam. Figured the stage 1s would be perfect to make up for slightly lost low end and supposedly they're great for CVTs. I figure I might as well be the Guinea pig and see what these cams can do on my setup.

I sliced my thumb pretty bad recently and went from stitches to having to surgically repair the tendon so unfortunately looks like I'll be paying someone to install the cams for me.

I also reached out to John at FK8TD.com to help me out with porting my non-Si HP fuel line and make me a 6AN fuel feed line from the PRL Flex Fuel Kit to HPFP to replace my PRL PTFE line.

Need to e-tune the car again once I get the cams and FK8TD fuel lines in and will provide an update again once I do.

Added some more parts, made my own 6AN PTFE fuel feed line connecting the PRL Flex Fuel sensor to the HPFP with an Aeromotive 10 micron in line fuel filter. Hopefully saves my injectors from the typical clogging/failures associated when running E85. Swapped Hardrace RMMs from the 8722 to the Q0676 and also had VCD racing install my Skunk2 Stage 1 cams.

Waiting to swap out my High Pressure FK8TD modded fuel line Wednesday and re-tune with RevitUp Brasil.

Hey OP,
How was the install for rear seat vents with a kit? Where did you get it from?

Thanks in advance,

Sad to say but I haven't really taken it up very high or even tried to. It does get to triple digit speeds fairly quickly or without me realizing until I look at the dash.
