Hi guys-

I am a new owner of a 2019 Type R. After 30 miles from driving home from the dealership I found a small rock chip on my front bumper and was really disappointed after finding out how thin the paint is. I'm thinking about getting it wrap with PPF. I did some homework on PPF but I want to hear from guys with Type R that has their car wrapped. Pro/Cons? Any issues? Should I fork out the money? If anyone is from Atlanta can you suggest a reputable shop with fair pricing. Thanks in advance.

I have both front and rear bumpers wrapped in PPF (what I consider high prone areas). If you can afford a complete wrap, then yes. Cleaning and maintenance is just the same. To reduce any risk of delamination, just don't aim the pressure washer directly on the edge of the PPF.

Do you see any dirt collected on the edge of the film?

Do it. You will enjoy the car better knowing the front is protected. Like an iPhone case.
