The factory tint isn't all bad either, kind of a grey/green, in many light conditions it's good.

Thanks! I'm still debating the full windshield 35% like I had on my CRV. Maybe after inspection.
35% would be very clean and dark. I had to do 50% on my windshield. State police pretty strict on Highways.

Hey everyone, did anybody get the windshield strip in the Touring model with the camera/radar box on the windshield?

Did the tinter have to cut the strip in 2 pieces to fit on either side of the casing? Any problems doing it?

Thanks!

EDIT - I'm an idiot.. same question posted couple pages back.

Anyone besides me finding this car in most colors looks better without tint, or with only a slight (45-50%) tint? Really not sure why, but I've given it almost a year, and can't seem to dig it like I do on other cars (except black.. looks good.) Has something to do with that rearmost section, I think, being lost in the mix, rather than standing out as a third section of glass past the c-pillar. *shrug*

Finally pulled the trigger and got my Civic tinted today. Went with Llumar CTX ceramic 35% all the way around and nothing on the front windshield. It's a tad darker than I expected. Probably would have gone a bit lighter (maybe 40%?) but that won't happen unless Johnny Law gives me any issues!

I want to tint mine but I don't want to have a run-in with the law man (no tint allowed on the fronts). I think it would keep my car cooler and protect the leather a little more. Still perplexed.

just washed the coupe and polished the outside glass with steel wool, really makes a difference, gleams in the sun.
