Good thing because I've heard too many horror stories of dealers telling people that "you should be approved for it and we'll let you know when/if you are" then you find out you weren't and they want to get you at a higher rate.

I had a free night and seeing my odds in finding a manual sport hatch stopped into Brown's Honda in Glen Burnie, MD to see how I liked the CVT. Loved the car and service provided by Ben Orlando and ended up buying that night. Can't say enough about Ben or the sales manager, Rita. Also got the 0.9!

No sir, it was an excellent experience, but you can take that with a grain of salt since I'm a first time buyer. I've been told the horrors of car dealerships and I came in expecting not the worst, but nothing quite like my experience. What they did was that soft credit pull, saw I was golden and slapped the offer on the table. A lot of dealerships, I guess on particularly busy days, check credit before continuing to know that their buyer can do follow through with payments? Before the civic, I was looking at a charger from Clay Cooley Dodge. The whole experience was a joke, to be honest, just push push push. I told the saleswoman I wasn't interested in buying that day, I just wanted to see the car so I could make up my mind and she straight up replied "well I'm trying to sell you a car today." Like damn, lady. That was pretty bad.

You guys are lucky, all of you. I got a prodigious and abysmal 10.0%(the decimal is after the first zero, not b4!) interest!! eeeeyikes!!! I had to scramble and pay it off within a week and they didn't have the paperwork completed. The loan terms START and begin (empezar in spanish) the day you drive off and not when the paperwork is done on the back end. Capital One, the guys who backed me despite the lowly terms, was great and I got customer service to x-fer me to a resolution specialist who backdated my payoff!! Great scott, crisis averted and future problem child squashed!

GAWDDAMN they bent you over and gave you the big one. Believe me I went in this time with a lot more info and ready to walk if they didn't agree. Screwed up on current car because I was too eager. Plus the fact that there are 15 or so different Honda stores in town.

Classic Honda of Texoma. Fairly new dealer but they are true to their commercials if you've ever seen one. I've purchased MANY new cars and this was by far the best experience. Drove an hour and half to try them out, no regrets. Experience was similar to visiting some polite distant relatives. They also mailed me thank you cookies after the purchase. No BS protection packages, no pressure sales and finance, very clean etc. Even got to meet the owner from TV who was cooking burgers and hot dogs for employees and customers "memorial day." Everyone is calm and just down right friendly, unlike most salespeople that remind me of a Chihuahua when someone knocks at the door.

I'm happy to be an advocate for them, all 3 classics, Honda, Toyota and Nissan.

Prescott Honda in Prescott, AZ. Called them on the only Sport 6MT Hatch on this side of the entire country, that wasn't presold, and asked for a price. Apparently the guy who ordered it, backed out because it took too long. They didn't even ask MSRP when they really could have. Got a price under MSRP that I was comfortable with and they hadn't even PDIed it yet. My salesman JB, even called me on the way up and asked if I didn't want their standard package of add ons and saved me that chunk of change. Also they had put on the paint protection but since I don't live anywhere near the dealer they dropped that price too. Payed the agreed upon price plus fees and they got me out of my lease for a decent price as well. Karen in finance was great to talk to and didn't pressure me into anything on the backend. Overall great experience and I left with a huge smile on my face.

It was either that or wait 4-6 months for Aegean. White is a good color out here anyway and it was my 2nd choice.

Recently bought my Honda Civic Sport Hatchback from Classic Honda in Brampton, Ontario. They are the largest volume Honda dealer in Canada and for good reason. The customer experience I received there was incredible. Working in the automotive industry and dealing with dealers on an everyday basis, I know customer service and a well run store when I see one. I had the benefit of working with the General Manager on my deal but had to interact with multiple sales staff in the process. All were great and knowledgeable and made themselves available for contact pre and post purchase via email and cell phone.

I did do a lot of my own research before test driving and buying my Honda and that helped a lot. With all the choices they have it really helps to use Honda's online resources to understand each model and what it offers. The side by side comparisons were an indispensable tool.

I would highly recommend checking out Classic Honda for anyone in the Great Toronto Area!!

Got my LX from Portland Street Honda in Nova Scotia and they were incredibly pleasant to work with. I test drove a few different models and they had no problem setting up times that worked around my schedule.

Negotiating a price that I was happy with was a breeze and then negotiating a value for my trade in was just as easy and was $500 off from what I would have listed it for private sale - which is waaay worth it for me.

Finance office was easy and friendly, no hard sales for anything, I turned the protection packages down and that was that. Took delivery a few days later based on my work schedule and they walked me through anything I wanted to know with the car.

Overall, it was a nice experience and didn't feel like a me vs them purchase. Plus free starbucks coffee so that's nice :p

Kendell Honda in Eugene is so far awesome. Told them I been calling around and no one is budging on just $500 off of the $29,350ish they quoted me on the 2018 sport touring hatch. Would go 2017 but none left. Ian the dealer, called me back in less than 10min and told me he will get me one for $27,600 and will try and get me some mats. From the 4 dealerships before his it didn't sound like anyone wanted to even try and sell me a car. Stereotypes are still alive when it comes to most dealerships.

Whatever they upsold, I still got a deal so they can phrase it any way they like. Got my LX w/ Sensing for 21,4 with 500 trade in.
