So, I thought I would start a thread where people can put a "wishlist" of things they would like to see added or improved on the next gen Civic. I know it's still a bit of a ways off but we're far enough into the 10th gen cycle I think to know whats good and whats bad. I'll start:

•Standard LED headlights
•Better infotainment UI
•Better quality of fabric interior
•something like a virtual cockpit where full maps are on the dash
•Ambient lighting
•Bigger and higher res infotainment screen

  • Standard auto dimming mirror & home link on all trim levels
  • Engine oil filter placement similar to the Toyota FJ Cruiser (cleanest, easiest filter replacement ever!)

  • Height adjustable passenger seat
  • Rear A/C vents
  • Auto up / down for all windows
  • Lower cruising rpm on highway for the manual transmission. 3k rpm on the highway drones more than I'd like

The height adjustable passenger seat is a big one, forgot about that. I've sat in the passenger seat before and it's too low, they definitely need to add a way to raise it.

I think they've made Honda Sensing with all of that standard on every trim in 2019 here in the U.S. I thought it was the same in Canada.

AWD option
100% LED lighting
Height adjustable passenger seat
Real blind spot monitoring system
Less wheel/fender gap, better OEM tires
Tighter body panel gaps, better paint
Exposed exhaust tips on all models

And one more thing. I hate that Honda bolted on that tiny lip spoiler on the upper sedan models. It pretty much prevents us from adding a nicer (bigger) aftermarket spoiler. No way that tiny thing needed to be drilled and bolted to the decklid.

No. Civics in the US and Canada do not have blind spot monitoring or rear traffic alert.
And the first generation Honda sensing is somewhat klunky. I am sure that they will improve it for the next generation.

Exposed exhaust tips, yessss. At least on the ones that have turbo.

I also wish that their LED headlights were projectors instead. The new Corolla’s headlights are crisper.

3K rpms?? My car in 6th gear isnt at 3K rpms unless im going like 80 lol
Lots of highways around here with 70 - 75 mph speed limits, can easily cruise at 75 - 80 mph without concern for getting a ticket.
