Based on my experience a 235/40 can clear no problem but you will have some stretch. A 245/40 can clear as well but you will have light rubbing on hard cornering.

Is the slight stretch for the 235 tire going to cause any issues? Why not go between 235 and 245 and get 240s?

since we're not racing (got a mean kawi ninja for that)...the wheels are a subsidiary of hankook called starfire.

1. How do you fit these? The bore on the stock civic-LX is 64.1 and on the RTX is 73.1?
2. Buying an 2016 civic-LX. Is there a list if size rims/wheels/offsets compatible with this car?

The section width of the tires always ends in 5, and the measurement is in millimeters. There are no 240 sizes.

I put Konig Oversteer in Opal on my 2016 LX today. I went with 18x8 35mm offset and wrapped them in 235/40R18s. I love the way they look and I had guys at the shop taking pics after they put them on.

How is the ride quality of the 18x8 vs stock 16" size?

Stock 235/40 conti’s

One wheel/tire weighed in at 41.5lbs

No rubbing at all (I'm on stock ride height). Got them at a local shop since the company is based in Toronto.
