Just bought 235/45/17 michelin pilot sports a/s 4 for my white sedan. Which wheels do you think would look good with this combo? I wanted to go for a +40/45 flush look.

Hard to beat these wheels! Enkei TS-5. They also come in silver, and matte black. 17x9", 40mm.

I read that +8 to 8.5 would be a better fit to oem. But these do look nice
Alright, let's adjust the offset 5mm, and try again. Enkei, RPF1, 17x9", 45mm. You heard wrong if you want a flush look, but only want to stay with 8", or 8.5". You would have to run a lot lower offset, say 30mm, to achieve the flush look. The scrub radius wouldn't be optimal. Keep the width, adjust the offset so its closer to stock. The 17x9", 45mm will get you the look you desire. Later, down the road, you will have the room to grow the tire size also.

Looks very nice. How's the quality of Motegi's? I'm currently searching for wheel and tire packages, and Motegi is one of my options since it is not too pricey.
Thank you for the compliment.? The Motegi's are great quality wheels for the price. Good quality control. The finish is good, and I've yet to see any casting abnormalities with them. I have two sets (MR 148's, & MR 146's), and my buddy has a set on his Lexus IS 300 (MR 145's) as well. He too is very impressed with them.

For sale wheels and tires~300 miles + garage kept with garage line hubcentric flush spacers for Type R [30 mm>] and black Lugs flot and beatutifil. $2000 plus extra continental tire for real spare. obo but the price is more than right. Get it before itā€™s too late. Wheels are worn like new, get it now before they are gone for good. Know someone wants this mazing package let them know about it before itā€™s gone! ??? buyer pays shipping via LTL ground freight or local pick up.

Anyone running an Enkei TS-5 setup?
Iā€™m running the Niche Monotec (Their forged series) pricey but I wanted to maintain the 20lā€ stock look and flip the red and black to accent the extreme accent of the red mgen kit to replace the pin stripes around the wheels and the car. Sorry for the crap pic only one I had on hand.

These are 20x10 with a +45 offset, has about 3mm clearance on the bermbo. Rides much better on the 10ā€ wide doesnā€™t eat every pothole like the 8.5ā€ did, TOYO tires also has better traction likely to the width but it doesnā€™t pick up very flake of dirt off the road and throw in around either like the continental.
