Hey, have you got HondaCare or other extended warranty?

I just got the Stratos tint put on and it looks great! Little darker than I thought it would be but still looks great. Only issue I have now is that a keyless entry error pops up. It looks like a common problem when people tint windows but it’s been a day so far and still chiming at me. Any updates on this? Also I’m really leaning on picking up some SSR GTx01 Gunmetal blue rims as well. Anyone have leads to any used ones or lowest price new ones? I can’t seem to find 18’s I really like.

Funny you mention that, I just got a few quotes today about it and I am trying to decide if I want to get it. Best price I got so far is $1050 for 8 years 120k miles 0 deductible. Honestly it seems like cheap insurance for the extended period for the electronics or stuff like a/c or alternators. I just hate spending the money now though since I need new wheels very soon to throw on winter tires.

The Honda all weather mats are junk, don't bother. I got 3D Maxpider floor mats and they are awesome. Spray them right off at the car wash and they fit like a glove.
I know this is a silly question, but when viewing these mats on Amazon, it says that they do not fit the Type R. Yet, when selecting a Sport Touring Hatch as the vehicle, it says that they do?? o_O

I'm sure this doesn't matter, right? Looking to purchase these as well once my R comes in within the next couple weeks!

I highly recommend these mats, they just go nicely with the interior. I can’t remember how I ordered but they were for a civic hatch I believe.

Well just an update I am over 800 miles and really enjoying the drive. There are a few things that are a bit annoying mainly things that come with a car being a civic. The biggest thing is the rocks hitting the inner fender from the tires. It’s just cringeworthy not sure how to stop this or deaden the sound. The other is the rear interior panels. I sure wish they made door panels and the seats in materials similar to the front. In any event this thing is a hoot to drive and people just stare and take pictures of it constantly.
I did make my first real mod purchase today. I have some Gramlight 57CR in Gun Blue on the way. I will be mounting some 265/35 Dunlop winter tires. Eventually once the oem tires wear down I will use these as summer wheels as well since I have a set of pilot sports sitting in the garage too.
Here are a few random dirty pics.

Have you looked at Rally Armor? I have a set on their way because of your same concerns. It will only get worse with a wider wheel with more aggressive offset.

Yes I am looking at mid guards. The only thing I don’t like about the rally armor is that it makes the car look like an old sti. It just doesn’t flow with the lines as well. But I may just have to bite the bullet and grab some.

Do you have a link to where u got them from? I cant find any that would match TypeR, and i cant find the ones for civic hatch either? So, is the interior dimension and shape totally identical btw civic hatch and ctr?
