Let me start by saying $100 dollars for the Acuity pedal spacer is...
1.) Worth every penny as you will use it and see its benefit any time you drive.
2.) It's really not a lot of money for a product that gives you so many options for pedal placement.
Although... I was curious if you could mimic the placement with out spending the money. After looking at the nuts holding down the pedal, I thought what if I just remove the lower bolt's nut and place it under the pedal. The nut acts as the spacer and is now even with the brake pedal. After 5k and checking the install everyday... No issues or movement.
DIRECTIONS:
1.) To remove. Unscrew the 3 nuts holding accelorator pedal.
2.) While pedal is removed, place nut back on the lower bolt and tighten.
3.) Place pedal back on the bolts and tighten the top two.
*WARNING*
So before anyone mentions it. Yes, im aware this is probably not the safest option. Just offering a free solution to the Heel-toe issue our 10th Gens have. This should only be a temporary thing until you purchase a legit pedal spacer.
Do I recommend this for anyone else's car? No, but you make your own bed and have to sleep with the consequences lol
