This frontpipe is available on Ebay for $185 or best offer with free shipping. I offered $165 and the seller accepted.
I read reviews of bad fitment with the PLM downpipe/frontpipe combo but I was curious if maybe it was just the downpipe that was causing the fitment issues.
I wanted to try this frontpipe because. The price was great in my opinion, the pictures I found online looked decent and I wanted my fellow 10thgen owners to have more info on this frontpipe option.
This is how mine looked when I opened the box. The small white bag is the cheapo gasket and bolts.
I tested the fitment with the stock downpipe and exhaust and it fit. I will be pairing this frontpipe with a PRL catless downpipe and the stock sport exhaust. I will post pics and let you know how the fitment is after I install everything.
What do I think of it now that I have it in my hands and can get a good look at it? You get what you pay for. I was disappointed (but not surprised) in how they packaged it. I also didn't like how some of the welds looked. I don't think that the welds will give me any problems. Its just a cosmetic thing for me. I'm going to wrap the pipe so I will never see them again so its kind of silly for me to complain about it.
The experience of pulling out the PLM frontpipe vs the PRL downpipe from the box was totally different. The first thing I thought when I opened the PLM box was how lucky I was the pipe didn't get damaged. Then a bit of disappointment in how it looked and thoughts of well I only spent $165. The PRL downpipe was really well packaged, you could tell they really cared. After unwrapping it from all the bubble wrap It felt more like I was looking at a work of art. I didn't even think about the price, I was to busy admiring the craftsmanship.
