Whats up guys? As some as you know my car is currently with Borla exhaust for development of a Hatchback sport exhaust.

They are wondering a few things:

Would you guys be interested in an axel back? Catback? Any suggestions are appreciated as they will be watching this thread.

Definitely interested in some options. I like the larger diameter tail pipes...the stock look way too small. Interested to hear this system.
Thanks for your ouput!

The diameter will change. I cannot say to what size but it will not be stock size.

I am also to hear the sound on it:D

My "dream" hatchback Sport exhaust would be adjustable, something I can make more loud or quiet by pressing a button. I've seen a few out there for other cars and it is something I'd be willing to pay a premium for.

Hey hey - Thanks for doing this! I may catch a bit of flack for this, but personally I'd prefer an axle-back option. My performance goals have been shifted to the back burner for the next year or so (after which I'll likely go flash, downpipe, full exhaust, etc. OR I'll upgrade to a faster drivetrain entirely) but it'd be nice to have a relatively affordable exhaust option until then. I have to believe I'm not the only one feeling this way. I used to have a boosted IS300 with blue/burnt tips that I really liked, too, though that style may be out of fashion these days...Just my two cents.

Ideally I would like it to be modular, the axle back, and then the front/mid pipe. And sub $700 for the full system.

If Borla makes a catback for the SI coupe, I would buy it.

Axel back would be ideal for me.

Borla S-Type Catback prototype is finally done! Very impressed with the outcome. Will try to post a sound clip soon.

Besides borla, is magna the only other option for an exhaust on the hatch?
