I know, I know. Just get a wrap, or paint the car. DO NOT PLASTI DIP.
But I did. For under 24 dollars lol.
My local shops gave me quotes of hundreds of dollars just for the trim. Which they said had a hard time staying on the chrome anyways. So I decided to try something myself. No experience.
It's been over 2 years now and it seems to be just now starting to peel off on it's own.
Problem areas are the window visors and rear honda emblem. For the most part everything is staying on well. I hand wash and wax mostly but do go through the kaddycarwash sometimes. Still good.
I'm thinking of either peeling everything off and respraying, or leaving it off to try to wrap whole car. If I respray maybe I'll leave some areas on and go over again. Not sure if that's cool. But I do not like the bits of chrome here and there with already lots of black trim.
