Plannig to change rim and tire size. Needs suggestions please.

hmm shows it as 1%, weird that the 16" and 17" on a civic would have different circumferences within the same model year
They'll be close enough, though (other trims go up to 235/40-18).

What matters more for ABS/TPMS/VSA/etc is that all four tires are the same circumference. You can use, say for autocross, small-diameter wheels and small-diameter, wide, sticky tires to get the effect of shorter gearing and quicker acceleration. ABS will still work as intended because all the wheels are rolling at the same rate -- that is, one wheel isn't always rolling slower than the others.

If you were to leave one pair -- let's say the rear -- at stock circumference and change the other pair, then ABS/etc would get confused.

Awesome sounds good. I just want some better looking rims.

thanks guys. already decided. ill just use the measurement for the sports civic hatchback, they said its gonna be fine. Barracksi is right, 235/40-R18 it is.
