Hello all-

I've noticed in the last 6 months that my headlights are pitted. I'm assuming it's due to me commuting to work on a busy highway. I've attached an image. I've read some people using high grit sandpaper. Then seal.

Are there any other options out there? I have attached an image of the headlight.

Ideally yes.

You can just wet sand them and polish it most likely to get those pits outbut hard to determine these kind of stuff with just pictures. It'll get rid of those horrible swirl marks on the lenses too.

As well as PPF-ing the headlights, wrap the entire front of your car, including the grille.
eh that depends on your situation. Depends on where your driving it, how often and how ocd you are with possible pitting. PPF for the headlights aren't that expensive but for the full front, it gets pretty costly.

I have nothing PPFed on my car except the b pillars.

You didn't seal and wax them previously?

The damage is already done but you can wet sand with very fine grit sand paper progressively, but you will remove the UV coating in the process so to avoid hazing you need to have them layered with film after. Mine look like that as well, and I just laugh about it. Actually my windshield also looks like that as well...full of pits.

Sand, paint with UV-resistant clear coat, then protective film (or just put film on them now to stave off further damage):
