The 2017 Honda Civic has been revealed in a private studio event ahead of its debut at the Paris motor show later this month. Here are some photos of it looking beautiful in red.

Man... I wouldn't have been able to afford one, but I kinda wish I could have gotten the hatch. Even with those big ugly plastic bits... A manual 1.5 Turbo with the added versatility of a hatch that's not a Hyundai POS. drool.

This car becomes cool if a company can make an aftermarket fog light grill that will fit huge fog lights, and the rear diffuser/reflector area plastic can be removed or modded to allow actual air through it.

Those two areas are atrocious in my eyes.

Bottom left of the back bumper - looks like there's a split on the bumper so that the section can be removed... wonder if that's where the tow hook attaches?

As much as I want to hate it, I really give Honda credit for taking a risky approach with this design. I do wish we had studio shots of the front seats.

I think it looks really good. In my opinion they struck the right balance of sportiness and practicality. It also has a unique look to it that sets it apart from other car makes and models.

yes - there will be multiple suspension settings

Currently it's Milano Red for the European Civic, Rallye Red for the North American Civic. So this one pictured may actually be Milano.

Looking at the pictures it looks like there are more speakers as well.

There's a woofer/tweeter on the doors, as well as a separate woofer on the C-pillar.

It's a 12 speaker system. 5 in the forward deck like normal, rear door mains, tweeter, c pillar mains, subwoofer for 12. Funny thing is that the C pillar speakers are made by Denso like wtf
