So phearable 1.5 I’m good with 91 only

phearable 1.5R I would need a splash of E85.

Got it.

I’m going to continue reading up on k tuner stuff as I’m looking to pull the trigger around x mas.

Just my quick cliff notes on the 1.5R tune...

Map 1 ... The tune that Honda should have released. Perfect for every day use. Mild but fun.

Map 2 ... Another great everyday tune. 20 psi seems just right to me.

Map 3 ... Yeah, I could use this to daily as well. It's very smooth. Thing is, with 24 psi on tap, I save this for special occasions. Just too tempting to WOT this all the time and my mpgs go down the drain. ;)

You’re telling me! I’ve been in map 3 and I’m getting 27 mpg lol

Something interesting:
I'm on my way to work today, running Map 1 per usual, with BBG 1st set to 18psi and the Light ignition moderate throttle pullback, and giving anymore than absolutely necessary throttle caused my front tires to break loose due to the roads being wet with light rain.
Had a minivan behind me that I definitely surprised with it, when he passed me as I was turning, they were looking over at me.

That issue is called stock tires suck. ;) You could lower BBG to say 15-16 and go to the moderate or aggressive Advanced VSA setting, but if it kicks in often, that timing pullback could affect the cat over time.

You got that right. Hoping to get some new rims soon and when I do, I'll be getting some fresh rubber.

I need 4 tires now. Any recommendations?

For all seasons, there are a number of good ones. I think the new Continental DWS 06 Plus are a great balance of grip in dry and wet, good ride quality and low noise.

Nice write up! I finally pulled the trigger and upgraded to the Phearable 1.5R from the regular 1.5. Excited to try it.

Question: what level of throttle responsiveness do you guys prefer? I found “Improved 1” my happy medium on the regular 1.5 tune.

Thank you!! Congrats man, you're gonna love it.

I kept mine on 1 as well, but some may prefer 2 with 1.5R. It kinda falls to personal preference and driving type.

Do you see mpg changes? My mileage is pretty poor in my opinion with the TSP tuned. I can’t get over 25mpg no matter how I drive…

I get 30-40mpg depending on various factors, but I actually think I get better mpg with Phearable than I did on stock tune. Best I've seen on stock tune was 41mpg on a 35mile drive, I did a different route on Phearable and saw 42mpg going and 48mpg coming 33 miles each way.
Also check out what gtman put as well.

I thought you needed to get a flex fuel kit to run E85? Does the tune cancel that out?

To run full e85, yes. However if you're just going to put a gallon or two (at most) in with your 91 or 93 octane gas, then a flex fuel kit isn't necessary.
