Good call. I ended up getting a couple replacement pigtails from Ballenger Motorsports that seem almost identical to the OEM. Worst case I can probably use the pins and wires but I think they might just fit as is.

Just gonna bite the bullet, replace the wiring, and hope that fixes it. Sucks that this is even an issue to begin with but at least the solution is pretty cheap…
Just went back to Honda today since the codes keep coming back, but they tested the wiring harness and said the harness is good.

The only thing they could think of was the PCM being faulty so they're planning on repairing that instead which was a lot cheaper than the harness all together.

Hopefully this fixes it.

Interesting, definitely let us know what they come back with. Those pigtails should be in today and I will also test the wiring harness to see if it actually is the wiring. Hoping it’s not anything crazier than that 😅

Great news - I was able to verify that the green wire was internally broken and replace it with the Ballenger CONN-85734 pigtail.

I’m having trouble uploading videos here but I have a video showing how to check the continuity of the green wire - this YouTube video does a good job of demonstrating as well. CEL is gone and the car is back to normal!

P.S. I bought an extra pigtail just in case and do not need it. I will send it to the first person who DMs me for it, free of charge!

I got the PCM replaced but the code still popped up :/ I'm not sure if it's actually the solenoid bypass valve now since the harness checks out.

But on the bright side. I'm getting closer to a lemon law haha. I have a firm already looking into my case.

Hmm yeah I suppose it could be the valve itself at this point - that sucks, hopefully the case resolves in your favor!

Just wanted to update:

So the dealer service center tried replacing the valve, but even with the new valve and the new PCM. The problem still happens, but this time when I drove the car out of the lot - it started to pull to the right and continues to pull to the right while driving and braking. Brake system problem lights lit up as well as my TCS lights.

Went back to the dealer to see what is going on and they loaned me a car. It's been in the shop for two days now lol. Hoping for a fix soon, but at least this issue adds to my case.

Either way, I'm glad you got yours fixed!

Dang… that sounds like a whole lot of fun. Definitely seems like you got a lemon. Tell them it’s time for an FL5 lol
