Hey everyone,
I discovered some paint “bubbles” (see images) on my right passenger door today. Any ideas what may be causing this? Heat?
Water getting into the frame seal?
Thanks.

I've seen this on several CTRs. Not sure what causes this.

I've got this as well. It's a common deformity, no idea if it's covered by warranty. It's the plastic rubbery trim around the windows, not 'paint' persay.

Thanks for your replies.
I’m not fussy about this kind of things usually, but this bothers me a little. I can see it from a distance:confused:

Well, looks like I'm headed to Honda tomorrow.
While you're there, if you have that black rubber window trim/weather corner seal curled up in the rear quarter panel where the quarter meets the door, get that replaced too. 2019s got an updated piece. You'll know what i'm talking about if it's an issue.

edit: i'll just post a pic. This is the updated part that replaced the ugly curled seal.

Bump!
How many of you got this fixed ? I’m not sure if I want Honda to take apart the door, my fear is it ends up rattling afterwards.?

Definitely bring it in. it should be covered. When i bought mine in, i didnt even mention it (although I did notice it). They found it while replacing that pictured seal and replaced all of the peeling trims.
