*EDIT3*
First real sound clip!!

*EDIT*

This is a front-pipe back exhaust... Does NOT include the front pipe...

*EDIT2* - purchase link!!!
Got confirmation that these will be ready in less than 30 days!!!

Purchase link: goo.gl/uVUgjW
I stole some pictures from their facebook page... I'll update the page once more info is available for release date etc... No power claims yet but it's full 3" all the way back... Should make decent power...

Sound Clip (owner also has ktuned downpipe installed. Exhaust note might be slightly different without a downpipe)...

I am going to guess this will be a pretty loud setup but may just depend. Kinda insteresting they went from the main pipe to two into the muffler. Just to have one out of it.

Looks like front-pipe-back, not cat-back.
You are correct... I added an edit to the OP but I cannot edit the title of the thread unfortunately...

Works fine for me... Not sure what's up... maybe just give it some time to process the video?

They did it to reduce and tweak the sound... It is still straight through but this forces it to use more of the sound packing...

Should have flipped the muffler. 1 x 3” in 2 x 2.5” out. No need for extra welds, tips, pipes...weight.

I knew the moment I hit reply that my point wasn’t entirely clear, but couldn’t be bothered to expand. Apologies. Essentially, I am saying I don’t agree with the design.

It doesn’t make sense to go from a 3” pipe to a Y split, to a dual inlet muffler to a single outlet and then tree 3 tips off of that single outlet.

It’s an overly complicated design that has a lot of unnecessary bends, welds, and piping.

In my mind if they flipped the muffler so that it was single inlet (preferably 3”) and dual outlet (preferably 2.5”) it would be far simpler and lighter. You could just put your favorite tips on it and call it a day.

Agree, the muffler is all kinds of ass backwards, and that little tip in the middle looks silly. This could have been a simple clean exhaust with a single in two out... must have been reading thermals play book.

The 3" to two 2.25" is actually bigger than 3" entering into the muffler... In fact, it's 4.5" into the muffler... The muffler then has some sound material inside to help with the accoustics... Then it exits with a 3"... The tips are exactly that, tips...

This is probably the most straight through 3" you can find on the market... Even Remus exit isn't 3" with the valve open because that exit is smaller than 3" whereas P2R is 3" all the way...

If anything it's a better design because it allows for more air to enter the muffler and create a deeper sound rather than the design you propose where the bottleneck would be on the entering of the muffler causing unwanted back pressure and a much different sound...

Actually no.

The area of a 3” circle is approximately 22.18 square inches. The area of two 2.25” circles is approximately 24.9 square inches. Slightly more than 3” but likely any advantage would be negated by the Y leading into the muffler.

The HKS Legamax would have better flow characteristics with a 3” pipe to dual 2.4” muffler inlets and dual 3.8” outlets.

But neither are optimal. The legamax is designed for comfortable performance, they and others will be coming out with better performing and certainly better looking designs soon enough.

I might not speak for everyone but I’m not interested in jewelry. One efficient, effective and discrete muffler. One inlet pipe. One outlet. Black. Please and thank you.

milltek almost answers your request...1 inlet pipe to the muffler, but 3 outlet pipes for the tips (which you can get descrete black tips if needed).

I'm surprised P2R made this style exhaust, seems strange imo, but to each their own.
