Owner Input: How’s the Hatch?

About 80% of all cars I've owned have been hatch, wagon, suv. It's just what I prefer. I don't use this car for road trips, although I've taken a day trip. I wouldn't hesitate to use it for a short to moderate trip. It's taken everything I've thrown at it.
The load floor is inconvenient. I need to put my dog in via the side door. He's a long legged guy, and his head rides along the roof when he stands. I worry about heavy stuff scratching the plastic as I pull it out.
I've taken the cargo cover off and keep the seats folded. My kids are grown, but I'll flip them up if we're riding together.

While the load floor is higher than other cars I’ve had (scion, Highlander, Mercedes ml550) it’s still manageable to put things in and out. I’ve loaded 8 trash bags going to the dump with no problems. Since my windows are tinted I leave the privacy cover off. Hard to see what’s inside with 5% tint back windows. 50% front

The answer is for not without the seats folded down for the Bigger ones

Of note - the larger black case did touch the cloth cargo cover, but not by much so it was fine to leave it in place
