Well there’s no new 2018s in my area for a long tine. And the dealers that have them have 1-2 each 2019 still with ADM but I know you could taken them down to sticker as they know the 2020s are coming and what better way than to have all your 2019s gone by end of March when they start rolling in. Seems some areas are flooded but I live in a large city and the area the dealer is at drives pricing. If you know you can sell above sticker 1-3 type R in the next 4 weeks why sell for less. If they sell 2 they could lose 10-20k and still make money on the 2nd or 3rd one which would never happen. I also have one of the largest Honda dealerships in the country here that’s where I got mine from.

I haven’t been to that dealership, but it is only a 15 min drive from where I live. I’ve been in a few dealerships around Indy in the last couple months and they all have 1 or 2 type Rs that sit for a awhile before they sell. They all still put a 5k “market adjustment” price tag next to the window sticker. But it sounds like nobody is still stupid enough to pay 40k .
As you know there is always a sucker and the dealer will happily take their hard earned money and laugh all the way to the bank as they don’t give two shits.

Remember when air Jordan’s came out people were paying $1000 a pair on eBay or when new iPhone can route back when they were $400-500 for top of line and people were happily paying $1500-$2000 for them just so they can be the first on their block to have it.
I was just at my dealer and a worker at the dealer just bought 1 a couple weeks ago and paid market adjustment and so did another 2 buyers. So these sales guys are still milking the unsuspecting and uninformed.

Your lugs top does look a bit more flat

They are different the type R are larger 14Mx1.5 they look amazing and don’t take the wear and tear like the chrome ones do so easily. They are retail I think $45 per pack of 4. So you’d need 5 packs unless you need to protect your wheels from theft, no locks so the look isn’t broken up.

I see... I'm guessing the Type R is larger because of the different in rotor.
$225 for the whole set isn't cheap, but I'm sure it's for the quality:thumbsup:
I found mine's from Rakuten Japan, surprisingly even with shipping it's still cheaper than getting from the dealer in the States:D

I ordered a 2020 Boost Blue every dealer around me in Cincinnati wanted a markup and were firm on it. Joe Morgan Honda doesn’t mark them up at all but are firm on msrp. Honda typically doesn’t do orders they just do holds on current allocations or dealer trades for the car a customer is looking for. Went through this with Toyota on a Tundra. They do it this way too. Can be really frustrating depending on what you’re wanting the waits can be crazy long.

Um my 2019 I bought last June had those same exact lugs when I picked the car up. Same specs, same color. Guess they started earlier than 2020?

Totally digging the hood scoop.

Wonder how hard they are going to be trying to give these cars away now?

It's *mine*, no need to add a S.

Thanks for the info though!
