Just picked up a Ktuner v2 and was curious about what would happen to my car if I setup 2 step and Anti lag on a stock motor and exhaust?

My opinion is don't. Without proper precaution, anti-lag can/will cause serious issues to your motor. You can 2 step launch the car, but the stock/weak-ass clutch will be done for in no time.

I just flashed my car last week. No 2step or anti lag... it's not really necessary imo. Sounds coo tho

Fyi- someone on the forum just had a 2-step related major engine failure.

At best... nothing. At worst, you'd need a new engine.

You're a newcomer, OP... and we've had a couple cars put in the shop for engine repair/replacement in the last 1-2 weeks. Enjoy your car and the added fun Ktuner can bring but I'd leave out 2 step and anti-lag... at least until we get some more info on what happened to these cars at least. One thing I haven't heard is an engine being damaged from not using 2 step and anti-lag.

I feel like anti-lag is kind of silly to have on a street car, plus it seems like it would be really hard on your turbo, cats, and your engine as a whole. Probably not worth it if you daily your civic.
