So yesterday i found this cool feature that
i didn't know the civic had. you just have to click the unlock once and
then when you click it a second time and hold the button all the windows
and the sunroof will open. thought it was pretty awesome especially for hot days.

maybe everyone knows this an i'm just behind haha.

Thanks,I did not know that. Also, did you know that if you use the key from the fob and you put it in the door lock and turn and hold it one way or another you can lock all doors and at the same time put all windows up plus close the sunroof! I thought that was pretty convenient if you should exit the car forgetting to close everything.

I didn't know that. Good to know though.
I tried to roll everything back up because it was 15 degrees by me by clicking the lock button twice
and doesn't seem to close windows. had to get back into the car to roll everything up.

I wonder if pressing the lock button once.. Then holding the lock button will pull up all windows?

You would think hitting the lock once and then the second time holding would do the job but it didn't for me.
maybe u just didn't do it right. give it a try and see if it works for you.

According to the manual, you can only open all of them with the remote. To close them all at once, you have to use the key in the door, or operate them from inside.

Yeah I'll try it out,
Will post here when I try.
My '05 accord had the remote window roll-down feature, but it also would roll up only with the key in the lock. I heard it was a safety feature to prevent you from rolling up the windows when you're not physically next to the car, so you can make sure that nobody has their fingers in the windows, etc. It's too bad they didn't use the proximity feature to let you roll up the windows when you're close enough to the car.

Thanks for this, I must have skimmed through this section of the manual too quickly. Great feature in the summer when I can drop all the windows from the office to let the car cool down ten minutes before heading out. That'll save gas instead of running the car & AC. I did notice that you can release the button and stop the windows part way down to keep wandering hands out.

No, this is the first Civic to have it! If that is the case, it will be on the ones with the smart remote (EX and above), but have not tested it!

There were 4 Honda vehicle to have it in the past:

(1) Accord

(2) Crosstour (built on Accord chassis)

(3) Pilot

(4) Odyssey

I'm surprised it has taken so long to get to the Civic but pleased Honda has done it. My 2003 Accord EX-L opens all 4 windows, my 2012 Accord EX-L opens the sunroof as well (as did the 2008 I used to have). It is great on a hot day. The temperature drops something like 30 degrees in minutes as the hot air goes up out the sunroof and pulls cooler air in through the windows. Very useful.

To me the new civic is a premium compact car so I would be surprised if it didn't have it.
