So I just got my si back from the shop today after a turbo install and tune. On my way back home the oil light flashed on and off. 5 min away from home it kept flashing on and off. I checked my oil and the oil level is good. Does this mean my oil pump went to shit?

OP, how many miles do you have? Seems incredibly odd to have the oil pressure sensor and/or pump to fail on a 2019. Did you check for oil leaks around the turbo? Best to tell the shop the issue, and see what they say.

I’ve not yet heard of this particular issue after a turbo install. Keep us posted.

So I have good news and bad news. Good news is that the motor is healthy, they tested the oil pressure and said it was phenomenal. No oil leaks whatsoever. Bad news is they said I have an electrical problem. So I’ll probably take the car to an actual dealership to get that situated.

Pop in a fresh battery to make sure first. Any sign of the dash freaking out is a dying battery

Lucky man. If you see that CEL flashing, that usually means you’re doing damage to the engine and you should pull over safely ASAP.

The idle might be too low for the turbo Is it aftermarket? Do you have a tune?

CEL flashing is bad. for emissions equipment. Oil light flashing is bad for the motor. Directional indicator flashing means you're not from Florida.
