Guys, the oil filter is the same for both the 1.5L Turbo and 2.0L N/A right? I was looking into buying some napa platinum oil filter which are on sale for 4.99 but the filte selector only lists the 1.5L T or 2.0L as Type R model, which is a turbo iirc.
I just want to make sure if i select the 1.5L option, that the filter will fit.

It's also good for CR-V, Fit, Odyssey, Pilot, Passport, Ridgeline, Accord.... one size fits all. Only doesn't fit Honda motorcycles, scooters or lawnmowers.

I believe so. Our 2016 HRV uses the same filter as my 2017 Civic Hatch

Yes they are the same. I change the oil in my 2.0 and my girlfriends 1.5t. Same filter

I used to buy at Handa-accessories.com. They have had the A01 filters for a long time, not any more. Currently they sell A02 for $4.00 a piece in a six pack plus washers for 16 cents. They add a shipping charge to the whole order, so go ahead and buy a lot of stuff like air filters, wipers, ambient light kits, and of course Honda Bears.

Actually, these filters also fit small carbureted Honda engines < 1L ~ 20 HP used in generators, pressure mowers, lawn and garden equipment, water pumps, gocarts etc... and also some outboard boat engines.

You may need the same filter for your minivan, tractor mower, pressure washer, pickup truck, boat, and the fast car civic Type R.....
