Im trying to get my oil changed at Costco for my hatchback but they said their database doesn't include the 2021 one but has the 2020 one. Is the oil filter and such the same for both years? or is there anything different between them? Thank you in advance !

Honda car are so popular ( not in your country ? ) these guys at Costco does not seem to be mechanics to ignore this information and have to rely on a database.

If I were you, I would take the time to check if they have not forgotten to put all the screws of the plate under the engine. It's too often seen.
Also check oil level.

The first time I went to Jiffy with my '20 they couldn't figure out if it was a hatchback or sedan, or if I had the 2.0 or 1.5L. They seemed reluctant to believe me, which was weird because I've been there multiple times with other cars with no issues.
