Og K Swap?

So I've been thinking... Is it possible to swap in a K20a into a 10th gen? Cost aside, what would be the technical hurdles? I miss VTEC

About the same as swapping it into anything else I would guess. Brackets, wire harness, transmission, shift assembly, bunch of custom work

The K20c1 in the Type R, maybe. The K20c2 in the base 10th gen? No way. But to answer your question, it can rev to 9k and has potential to make more power once boosted (but less torque) than a K20c on stock internals.

I think they were referring to the k series that came in the 8th gens. I think it could be done, only issue would be registering the car(if your state requires inspections). They really dont like people putting older motors in newer cars.

Illegal to put older motor into newer vehicle that is street driven as it most likely does not meet emissions requirements of the newer vehicle. Can you get away with it? Who knows? Probably depends on where you live. I think there is a video of the k20 and k24 being mocked up in the bay to see if they fit.

Someone will release a k20c1 swap sometime in the future for the non type R.
