Had mine installed for over a year now. You can see the black finish coming off and also the blue paint chipped on my hood

Yeah mine looks similar to that now as well.

Have you guys showed this to 27won?
I put 40km on today. No issues yet. But my tip rubbing looks really bad.
Can’t wait to work this turbo. I am going to wait until I proper break in before data logging for first tune revision.

Honda service manual says we cannot clean injectors. But we have To replace. Cleaning injectors is common practice on DI engines. Why do we have to replace and can’t clean if our issue is carbon build up
The issue is not many shops have the equipment to clean the injectors due to them being high pressure requirements.

I’ve mentioned this someplace before but people were saying it was user error.
I have a prl tip on its way. The rv6 slighlty rasies the tip. The rubbing is just too much. I will install it along with the prl CAI. I have been driving with the 27won air box sandwiched in (due to skunk2 manifold). I inspected my 27won tip and air box last night and the rubbing is quite a lot. Nothing I am comfortable living with. Itsucks to have to replace perfectly good parts but i guess it’s part of the game.

I just checked my 27won TIP and I have no rubbing at all but I am still on stock turbo (I need to install my type-r retro still before rv6 turbo). Maybe before buying a new part, loosen the clamps and bolts to see if you can move it a little downward? If you can move a little, put some masking tape on the scratched area to see if the tape gets rubbed/ripped as a test to see if you improved clearance. Just an idea...

I attempted to make adjustment with my 27won tip so it would clear with rv6 turbo but had no luck... But it is possible I missed something so always worth a try...

Too late. Already got the parts. But good suggestions. I don’t think I have much play. The run isn’t a little, it’s a lot.

I have the prl kit and have no issues other than I can’t run my torque solutions bov adapter. I was and am still using the stock bov with no problems.

Batch 2 consisting of 50 R365 turbos are in.

The first 10 R365 from batch 2 should ship in ~1 week. We are waiting on more custom oil lines. Parts shortages are a mess.

Would you recommend the turbo on a CVT hatchback?
