Yeah in reviewing my recent datalogs at WOT hitting redline at 30psi my duty is only at 40% so there’s plenty of fuel left
Nice

So it’s 2am my time and I’ve had one long day, so I’m sorry if I missed something but aren’t those numbers incredibly low? Haven’t people made more power with this turbo way below 32psi without built block or fuel upgrades?

One thing to consider is this was done on a dyno jet and not a dynapack. That being said I agree I was expecting at least 400

@RV6 When this turbo hits the market, would there be plans to do a combo deal with the downpipe & frontpipe? I've been impressed with your products on some Acuras in the past, so really hoping to get all 3 of these parts for the Si!

Does it feel more powerful than your previous setup? Are you have with how it feels ?

Before I was gapping stage 2 type R’s now they pull me in 4th so this setup is slower, if we can get the turbo to light off sooner like 3200-3500 then it would probably be faster but the turbo doesn’t light off until 4500 sooo....

I don't think the point of RV6 turbo is to spool like the W1, but rather to deliver more top-end, especially when you are not fuel-limited.

I understand this and trust me it definitely does that look at the dyno graph it was pulling to redline. but sport-injected asked me for a comparison of the two that’s what I gave

No worries I’ve push both turbo to the limits the W1 is for someone whose looking for that quick spool trying to hit that 0-60 time the rv6 would be a safer option for a stock block and to make power because the spool is so late but that being said if your in a high gear and try to give it gas the lag is very noticeable you have to down shift into the powerband to get the car to move but when it lights off it definitely pulls hard

W1 is 0.43 a/r (or 0.5?) and td-04
RV6 is 0.5 a/r and td-04L
W2 is 0.65 a/r and td-4.5

I think IMW uses a Dynapack in house, they read higher than a Dynojet.
Tuned on E30 IMW is generally getting 340-345hp on similar builds on their Dynapack. I didn’t think the difference would be as much as 35hp between the dynos?
I am looking forward to seeing more plots. Once I get my turbo I am going to dyno tune remotely on my local dynojet but only 91 octane, that’s all we have here.

I thought the w2 was .6 or so a/r? I may have just made that up but for some reason I thought I sent that somewhere.

Correct I edited my post, there were a few different number floating around and looks like 0.5 was perhaps a design iteration. Thank you.

So for folks who ran both, W1 vs RV6? I'm about ready to get a turbo and officially go FBO. Leaning W1.
