Per rich it happens after the first heat cycle which means its 50/50
For all of us that are just watching to see first results, what's the problem specifically?... Assume it's something with the wastegate after heat cycle???

Did you buy the built block, or individual components and assemble yourself?
Bought. It's the TSP block. I lost my stock engine pushing 34psi with meth.

So what are you guys doing with your turbos? It was a nightmare trying to install that thing, I really really really dont want to have to do that again. What is the turbo housing exactly?

It's the whole turbo minus the guts I believe

It's the exhaust side of the turbo. With he waste gate actuator.

Rv6 said so.eone had an issue with the waste gate actuator sticking and it might be because there isn't enough clearance for the actuator shaft. Once it heats up it is sticking.

Since I didn't install mine I'm gonna wait for the new housing

To replace housing just the exhaust housing center clamp needs to be removed. Will have to make sure it is clocked correctly as well.

Yeah this is gonna be a first for me but shouldn’t be too hard
I've rebuild centrifugal super hargers which is similar enough

Thats what he said, I don't think we are going to get the housings really soon anyways. Hopefully your doesn't have this issue, but it wouldn't be a bad idea to change out when the housing comes in.

yeah I dont feel comfortable taking a turbo apart, nor do I have the time or money to take all that apart over again unfortunately.
