Hello, I’m new here, about a week or two away from buying a 2017 Civic Hatchback Sport Touring. I love the modern steel metallic, with the polished metal metallic coming in second. Unfortunate, were I live, the dealerships have neither of these colors of civics in stock, am looking out of state. Just a few questions:
-Are there variations in this MSM color on different cars, or am I just seeing variations due to sunlight/time of day?
-For anyone who’s compared The two colors, would you say they are quite similar? (From what I can see, MSM has a slight purple tint to it, PMM has a grey/charcoal look to it?)
Thanks In advance!

DId you just spay layers and cover around the exhaust or remove the exhaust and spray?
I didn't remove it. I just taped around it a bit to prevent overspray and gave it 5 coats with 15 min in-between coats. Very forgiving job since everything around it is black. Did my best to avoid spraying right up the tail pipe.
The plasti-dip seems to clean a lot easier than the chrome. I really had to scrub the chrome HDMI to get it clean.
