Picking up my SI Thursday. How's the paint over time? Are there a lot of swirl marks?

I’ve had mine for a almost a year now. The paint looks fine to me. I wash it every 2-3 weeks but I do keep it waxed to protect the pint somewhat. I’ve never used the automatic car wash always by hand

Seven months and almost 11,000 miles, no swirl marks. I’m a bit OCD with my cars thou so I wash it every few days or so, regularly wax it, and use a lot of detail spray. Rock chips are another story thou. Bought a chip repair kit from Dr ColorChip, haven’t used it yet thou. Will post picks when done

First new car, and black car. Wow does it get dirty quick. Love the color though. This was taken a few days ago. Washed it today, will clay and wax next weekend. Any tips for keeping my paint swirl free?

Buy lots of micro fiber towels and cleaning products!
I use all chemical guys products, the best for me
Garage it, hand wash it, keep it waxed, and use a good spray detailer between waxes
Or instead, If you have $1200 or so to blow, get it ceramic coated.

It's a dealer option they had my Si all ready blacked out in the show room along with a blacked out Accord.. but it's available for all the Honda's they sell

I had a CBP LX for almost a year. Told myself I would never buy a black car again due to the amount of work it required to stay clean. So just recently I decided to trade in the LX for an Si to have some fun...
