As the title states, I am looking to build my Si keeping it somewhat OEM with a few additions here and there. Now I usually start with "OEM" and it eventually ends up being something more. I do not plan on going crazy with the engine mods as I need a reliable daily driver but I do want more power out of the 1.5. It'll be a fairly slow build for now. So far I have added pieces here and there slowly making it my own .

Current Additions from Stock:

Honda Access Black Pearl Badging
Honda Window Visors
Honda Sedan Splash Guards
Mugen Black Anodized Shift knob
Deep Smoked Side Markers
Hikari Led H11 (Philips LumiLed)
Conti Extreme SportContact Tires OEM specs
Enkei PF07 18x9.5 +40
Eibach Pro Kit

Future Mods:
Hondata Flashpro
Intercooler- Again up in the air on brand
Exhaust - 27Won(depending on design)/HKS?/Greddy?/Borla?/Magnaflow?
Intake- 27Won, I like the design concept/AEM probably
Camber Kit- I have read different things on this site regarding rear camber, we will see if I do need the camber kit.
Exedy Clutch- This will come as soon as Exedy comes out with their Stage 1
Mugen Sedan Front Lip
Carbon Fiber OEM Trunk Spoiler- As soon as I find one
Glossy Black Roof Wrap

Nothing too big, just basic mods that everyone does. Can't wait! On to Pics of some of the Mods already completed and how the car sits now.

I can't really compare them to the Summer Tires since my Si came with the All Seasons. As you would imagine there's a big difference with Dry Grip. I've taken the Si on a couple of Canyon Runs and the grip is night and day. They also perform great in the rain, although I have never pushed them in weather. They are a lot softer/more comfortable that the All Seasons also.

Where you at in SoCal?

Nice mod list. Def post pics of the wheels when u get them I'm on 18x9 +40 which sticks out 23mm more than stock. You'll be sticking out 29.35mm more than stock. You are going to get some minor poke. I did some hand pulling on the front/rear fenders but u need to be careful if you do. I also removed the locating pin on the front upper strut mount to make use of the OEM slotted mount and pegged them to max neg camber which adds -0.3 degrees and gives 3-4 more tire clearance by tucking them further inward.

I have the Conti Extreme Contact sports on my other car but am running 245/40/18 on my 18x9's on my Si. I have no drop and don't plan to and at this point, have no need for a camber kit either as there is no rubbing an everything is aesthetically in check.

Riverside Co. near Temecula

I’m hoping that sticking with the 235’s will keep me from having to pull fenders or anything else. At least thats what I have read on these forums. The Contis are good to go on a 9.5 width but we will see. If it doesnt work then I will end up selling the wheels and going with 18x9 +45 PF01, according to Tire Rack that should fit with no issues. We’ll see.

Want me to add u to the San Diego group on FB?

The conti has a large rim protector bead which is nice. I just got a second set of the same wheels I already have for my car, but this time with 245/40/18 RE71R Bridgestones. I've run them before exclusively on the street and got 20k miles out of them.

Enkei's came in today! Got chance to weigh them 21.4 lbs so they will be lighter than stock. Hub rings also showed up, it was a pain trying to find 64.1 to 75mm rings but like always, Amazon to the rescue! Hopefully with these specs I will run into no issues....crossing fingers.....

Looks good so far.

I'd say tint and tune next.

Thanks. Actually I'm looking at lowering first. I might not do tint this time around. Something different.

Wheel shave been installed. Not sure how I feel yet because I love the look it was what I was looking for but I don't like the "poke" from certain angles. My goal for suspension/wheels was to always leave it stock if I could but to change the stock wheels which IMO are way too heavy. I think I accomplished both with these wheels, saving 10 lbs per corner with the new wheel/tire package. Good news is that I don't think I need to lower the car just yet, although I did order a set of Eibach Pro Kit from @Kami Speed(great service!). It might be too late to cancel that order but that's o.k. I'll see how I feel about stock suspension especially if I go with a 245/40 which I think this wheel deserves. The 235/40's leave too much wheel exposed for my taste however the Max Width for the Conti's are 9.5. I think a +45 would have been perfect for this wheel. I do love the concaveness of the wheel though.

Just driving for a bit you can already tell the Si feels lighter on it's feet. Tomorrow is my regular daily commute so we will see how it goes. Went through a couple of bumps and there was no rubbing, plenty of clearance from the shocks/strut and steering wheel locks side to side.

Just a small update, Eibachs have arrived. I will be getting them installed here in the next couple of weeks hopefully.
