VTEC R does bring up valid points. I wish we had a side by side photo of both. There are very different surface finishes, shapes, and heights to both lug nuts. If you just want to get rid of chrome the cheapest way possible, I believe the Ridgeline lug nuts are worth a look. If you want a premium lug nut appearance, that option is also available using the TG7 accessory part

Can you show what they look like on your CTR @HRace ?
I unfortunately can not. I sold them already. I literally just bought them to see them in person, confirm a few dimensions and sold them in a few days to someone on here.

Options are always nice but I was surprised how crap quality the OEM Crome CTR lugs are they mark very easily.

I also was told the accessories lugs were a much higher quality part from the dealership (looks alone sold me) but sales pitch or not (They guaranteed me they won't get marked or they will replace them for me for the factory warranty duration, with the spacers I wanted a high quality part.

I heard Honda separate their productions between Italy and China. You can guess which ones are made where by looking at these I suppose.

For comparison here in the Ridgelibe lugs vs what I have that I Also posted earlier in the thread. You can see the $150 difference. I Much prefer the short black stealth look I have. For those wanting a comparison shot. I know a few have been wanting to see them side by side.

So... order the part numbers I gave earlier in the thread, not sure why the 2020 black lugs on the Honda website look different than both of the above.

Using the lugs of the ridgeline is a great option. Very cost effective and TBH the CtR should have came with black lugs. It's much cleaner and more stylish. Really sets the tone of the wheels as well. If you feel like someone is going to mess with your wheels or steal them buy the black locking plug set but if not ..for the price of like $44 you cant beat em.

Black looks better than chrome hands down but the large flat face is the clear winner if your pocket is comfortable With the price. $200 isn’t a bad price for a set of quality lugs. I think mine were like $191 with tax marked down and they installed them for free.

I was more pointing out that the website black lugs for $225 don’t look like the ones I got from Honda at MSRP of $45 a pack.

The website appears more like the ridgeline just shorter? It’s all kind of odd.

Yes, but the look is much less stealthy also. I hope the ridgeline hold you better than the chrome OEM Type R ones. Just an impact starts to mark them up. The $200 ones don’t mark up from an impact and are smooth finished not pitted. Little details matter to me personally the entire thread was to show the different options and what the differences were.
