Honda Civic ex t 2018, Will I get any rubbing? I’m not lowered and looking to change my wheels to 18x8 or 17x8 both have a 35 offset I will use 225/40 for the 18x8 not sure about the 17x8 whatever is best. I’m looking to upgrade my looks but keep my performance the same or better current wheels are 17x7 with 215/50 tires. Which one is better 17x8 or 18x8?

No rubbing on either setup.

18's will look a bit better IMO but 17X8 will work and the wheels and tires will cost less. Cushier ride too due to the higher profile tire being used.

The 17x8 I’m looking at are 10 pounds lighter than stock wheels… should provide some noticeable performance benefit?? The 18x8 are about 5 or 6 pounds lighter than stock wheels I believe stock is 28lbs for an ex t
