As a 47 year bloke > father of 3 > having a mid-life crisis and wanting to drive a car that enthusiasts rate highly - I recently purchased a Civic Type R 2017 and really love this car!!! Wanting to put a bunch of stuff on it... Starting with some Mugen exterior stuff (tart?) - I'm useless 'mechanically' and with fabrication etc. Please don't hate on me for being a proper Noob - just trying to get into this...
Wondered if anyone could point me any garages/specialists in the Vancouver area (I live in Langley specifically) that knows the Type R and can install things like Mugen exterior parts (skirts etc) and eventually advise on more 'road worthy tuning/engine related upgrades' for the future... I apologize for being so badly educated in advance > just need some help and tbh. never been on a forum before! You guys really know your stuff so totally out of my depth here... :S
I can get the parts but don't know my ass from my elbow on 'how to install'... Any help would be much appreciated > totally new to 'having a drivers car'!
(if I can gain any cred here, used to own an Alfa 147, then a Cooper S... then had kids ... might of just made you all think... proper NooB but worth a try!)
