I bought my R at 71 and my S2000 at 67. Funny story, I bought my R over the phone from a Virginia dealer, when I walked in the sales guy I had been dealing with said “you buying this for your son???”You ain't old! Bought mine at 69 years young. Welcome to the club. Enjoy the ride!

Cypress and s2s are my go-toI'm in Vancouver, just bought a CTR.
Keep in touch about your experiences with the above garages, I'm in the same boat.
I'd recommend a blast up cypress mountain if you haven't already, the cars is incredible on a road like that.

RE: Front license plate - my R came from Montreal, where they don't mandate front license plates, so I guess I was just lucky! (I purchase a plate holder that doesn't require drilling - but gonna run it like this for as long as I can... )One more question, It looks as though you removed the bumper mounted front license plate holder.
What was involved in doing that?
Was there any holes to fill or any issues removing it? How is it attached.
That will be my first mod
Awesome looking car too!

RE: experiences with the above garages
I've been doing everything even vaguely substantial with YUME - and they've been nothing but awesome to me mate - they 100% know their stuff (as anyone will tell you)!
Here's what I've done so far:
- Hondata Flashed + custom tune from YUME to get the best out of the following (that they recommended - sourced and installed)
- Spoon Sports rigid collars (front and rear)
- EVS catless front and down pipe
Also got these rims second hand. with pilot sport tires - but immaculate (YUME installed and sorted the alignment/and the lowering springs)
- Advan GT premium rims (with caps)
- H&R sport springs (from YUME)
- Buddy Club steering wheel (I purchased - YUME installed)
Then I also did a bunch of little things like:
- Side markers from Unity Performance
- Weighted gear stick knob from Perrin
Finally, YUME also sorted out some decals for me and placed
SUPER happy with everything!! I believe I gained about another 40 bhp - car has a much meaty growl, even without new exhaust
Next stop:
- Exhaust (looking at the FUJITSUBO Titanium... expensive but looks and sounds the nuts!)
- Mugen side and front skirts + maybe grill...
That will be next year...
Thanks for the 'good roads' ideas! If you're ever out in Langley, lemme know and maybe we can meet up...
LUCKY! Have you got down and front pipes installed?I'm biased, but the Fujitsubo exhaust is baller. I was lucky enough to get mine used at a discount from Calvin at Yume.
I do have a PRL catted downpipe and PRL frontpipe -- that reminds me that the Fujitsubo was actually modified to fit the larger frontpipe.LUCKY! Have you got down and front pipes installed?
IF so - how loud is it!? Personally, I don't want people hearing me from a mile away - just want a bit of 'growl' to it...
you hardcore…I’m just a peasant with hksI'm biased, but the Fujitsubo exhaust is baller. I was lucky enough to get mine used at a discount from Calvin at Yume.
