No start after Hondata jailbreak

Geez I had no idea. I've watched dozens of vids and so far I haven't heard that was something that needed to be done. Thanks for the feedback.

Your list of cars does not have a CTR so I will assume you are referring to a non-CTR.

Jailbreaking is only necessary for Type Rs which use Bosch ECUs. Non-Type Rs do not need jailbreaking.

To update thread, Hondata sent a prepaid overnight label, fixed whatever was wrong with it and overnighted it to me. Car runs perfect and with the Sirimoto flex fuel and PRL intercooler is running like a freight train.

i also got my ecu back and my car is up and running as well! Crap happens from time to time but Hondata for sure handled the situation and got us taken care! IMO they got some A+ customer service!

Same exact thing just happened to my 21 type r. Failed during jail break process now my car won't start or read my ecu . Hoping it didn't brick my ecu ?

same thing happen to me when I tried to jailbreak the ECU. The app froze and closed on me. Ever since then, the ECU is in recovery mode. Flashpro no longer detects the ECU. Tried disconecting the battery and no luck. Looks like i'll be calling Hondata.
