No Apple CarPlay?

Hello everyone, just picked up a used 2019 Civic Sport. It has the 5” display radio. I was under the impression that ALL newer Civics had CarPlay and Android Auto. Is this not true?

It should. All have except the LX does not. Have you pulled your phone in via USB?

If it's a US market Sport hatch then no. The 5 inch screen does not have CarPlay or Android auto.

I thought the 2019 and onwards were all supposed to have the CarPlay headunit on every trim besides the LX? Or was that for 2020? Also do you have the hatch or sedan? The Sedan should 100% have carplay, not sure about the hatch though.

The 2019 Sport Coupe and Sedan got the EX interior while the 2019 Sport Hatchback had the LX interior. The 2020 Sport Hatchback has the EX interior too.

Looks like that's normal then. If you want the CarPlay headunit though, you're not completely out of luck. You can install an aftermarket headunit such as the phoenix one and get all of that stuff and you'll be set.
