Looking for opinions of standalone Nitrous Wet kit on our 1.5t engines.
Is anyone running nitrous?
Does anyone know anyone running nitrous?
I'm just curious if its safe.
I'm currently running +9 hondata base map.
I'm tired of getting harassed and stomped by higher displacement vehicles.

You might be able to get away with nitrous. But I'd only do a spool up kit, that's going to taper off as the boost builds. And this is worthless on the stock turbo. You would want it for an aftermarket turbo, specifically a big one.

There's also internals to worry about. Failsafes will be needed.

I installed a meth system and even that was nice and complicated on this car.

 facepalm* ... sorry ... it was late at night and I wasn't thinking.
I forgot that nitrous = high exhaust gas temps.

Nitrous with stock pistons/turbo/rods is not a good recipe for longevity IMHO.

I’ll second the water/meth suggestion, and weight reduction + aero, if you haven’t already.

The only car that has bested me so far was 2015 Subaru sti but he was pushing about 500 hp.
I do know I can out run a mustang and Camaro with v6's

Wow ... Your car is impressive.
I couldn't stand a chance vs a '15 stock WRX. I couldn't even imagine trying to keep up with an STi.
Honestly, I doubt mine could even deal with a Mustang, Comaro or Charger.
On the freeway, it seems to have great high speed power, but
since I live in a City that thrives off traffic lights (Philadelphia is a gigantic grid of poorly executed traffic control systems).
I don't have enough torque in the low-end to get a jump off the line.
On the freeway, I'll hit 115 without even realizing it, sometimes, but 0-60 is a joke.

Yea mine has always been interstate. The mustang and Camaro I'm sure only had a v6 because they were slow.

Please PM me, was looking into doing a meth kit since we don’t have E85 here and just to lower intake temps but with a plastic intake manifold, how did you do it?

Sorry for resurrecting a dead post, but couldn't you theoretically use a wet nitrous kit as a secondary fuel source when the injectors get maxed out? For ex. tuning it to purposely inject richer than you would for just nitrous alone?

After owning a car with nitrous for over 3 yrs.
I won't even bother too much of a hassle.

Your options:
1) Bigger turbo and ethanol. Think about making engine stronger.
2) Get another car.
