First of all, this is fugly. Just need to throw that out there.

Second, isn't the Juke a hot hatch/crossover/performance... thing, already?

Not sure the world of 'sports cars' is ready to become 'sports CUVS'.

R.I.P. Z sports car as we know it. That's a long lineage of great sports cars they're throwing away. Way to go Nissan :bonk:

This is like a hopped up Juke with better styling. No matter how sporty it is, it's not going to match a true Z sports car.

There was some speculation that this may be a preview of the second generation Juke but I think statements by Nissan have indicated it is the next Z concept for all intents and purposes. It's scary what is becoming of our sports cars. Even ignoring the hideous design of the Gripz, it's embarrassing they tried to sell it as having ties to Z roots.

Gas is cheap, so bigger cars like CUV/SUV sales are all the rage. What suffers are small sports cars. It's probably why Honda still hasn't brought back an S2000 revival.
