Attended Rd 6 of the Zestino Supersprint at Sydney Motorsport Park. Biggest change since my last outing was installing the radiator and pads, lines and rotors. Couldn't speak highly enough of these upgrades, it completely solved all the overheating issues I was having.

Session 1 was just getting the feel for the track. I know SMSP fairly well but never done a proper lap in anger. What a track! So good. Anyway, a very slow session compounded by the fact the stupid emergency brakes would pull me up and I couldn't work out how to turn it off whilst out on the track.

Session 2 was awesome! Felt like I was in an actual race at times. Managed to get past the MX5 that was leading the whole time only to run wide on turn three but it was a fun dice. I think I did a 1.58

Session 3 felt great, felt even more comfortable and managed to crack a 1.57 which I was pretty pleased with, and faster than the Escort I was tailing.

Overall I am really pleased with how the car performed. I feel like it is an amazing car for track duties and is now at a place where I don't have to worry about modifying around issues I can just focus on improving my driving. Also SMSP at night is incredible.

Below is a grab of tyre pressures & temps after the last session. I went out on 28 psi

I like the MX-72s as well. But I did have to move up because I was smearing them onto the rotors at one of the brake heavy tracks I ran (Wildhorse Pass - West). Am using the Carbotech XP10's.

There is a button on the dash by the door, CBMS/CMBS turns off the collision mitigation braking system. Near the VSA Off button. I think it takes a 3 second hold for it to go off.
