Had access to a lift and the help of my brother so it wasn't too badImpressive.
I actually went with magicollars, and install was straight forward, just follow directions that come with whatever brand you go with. Mine were numbered and the instructions told you which number went where. But it really did help align the subrame when re-installing and without them there is like 2mm of play on each bolt hole so these definetely serve a purpose. The kit also came with collars for the rear subframe which I don't know if ill ever install.Where the spoon rigid collars straight forward to install? Any tips for those?
We've both been wrenching on cars for over 20 years so that helps. 5hours is a great time as well. The book calls for 8 hours.Freaking Amazing time man. I had my buddy today helping and we were right at 5hrs just doing the competition clutch and flywheel.
Nice....were you running any tunes? Mine was doing fine till I went to the KTuner 23.5 MAP.My OG itch and flywheel 16,000 miles. Never slipped on me with full bolt ons.
Yeah on tsp, then phearable since 3500 milesNice....were you running any tunes? Mine was doing fine till I went to the KTuner 23.5 MAP.
Sweet. Ive been interested on switching to phearable. Ive seen posts where its been said the MAP is smoother and easier on engine compared to KTuner base maps. Then again Im also pretty hard on my vehicle and the clutch damage could be 90% my own driving style. Hopefully the CC will hold up to my driving.Yeah on tsp, then phearable since 3500 miles
I've so had the map tune, it is smoother but noticably less power, phearable and tsp make more top end powerSweet. Ive been interested on switching to phearable. Thats definitely where im looking to have more power at. Thanks for the info. Im curious if you notice a big difference with the beefier sway bar. That and coil overs are my next upgrades.I've so had the map tune, it is smoother but noticably less power, phearable and tsp make more top end power
