Thanks gtman! I like the look, but now wonder what finish to get. Enkei also has the Raijin wheel in their Tuning series that looks the same. It is available in Hyper Silver, Matte Gunmetal, or Flat Black.

Jgreen, in my humble opinion, if you have a blue car, the TSW Nurburgring in matte bronze would look phenomenal!

Weren't the Subaru WRX STi's equipped with similar matte bronze wheels a few years back?

Yes, but those are most likely BBS.

Not a fan I'm guessing? Lol

I love mesh wheels, and these are as good as they get for under 1k! ;)
All good..thanks for adding the side shot. When I look for wheels I usually find 2-3 aftermarket wheels I like. Then when it comes time to purchase I usually go with OEM from another model or year. I don't like messing with center cap stickers and fitment rings.

I agree TSW rotary forged wheels provide a good value.

Okay guys, so you know I had my FK Ethos RT-11C's and they were nice looking, but they are pretty heavy at about 30 lbs per wheel, which was definitely holding the car back. Also, they were only 18x8, so they didn't look all that great on a 245 tire, with a sunken in look.

Well, I just had new wheels put on today, and they are outstanding. I went with a much lighter wheel, TSW Nurburgring. They are 18x9.5 and a +40 offset, but only weigh 21 lbs per wheel. I was a little nervous that they might not fit, but there was about an inch to spare on the inner fender lining.

I have to say, I think the fitment is perfect. Anything over +40 offset(<40) sticks out too far, and the 9.5 inch width is perfectly flush looking down on it.

From a performance standpoint, they are so much better than the previous wheels. It feels like a completely different car. I'm loving them!

Did you drop the car. It kind of looks like it. I am going with the same wheels but 19 in, anyone thinks this is a bad idea?

Do whatever you want dude, it's your car! But keep in mind that if you want the tires to be in spec, you'll have to use 35 profile tires, and the ride might be harsh. Also a 19 will always be heavier than the equivalent 18.

Also, I didn't lower the car at all. The wheels are 9.5", so they pulled the tires to their max in spec width. This is what makes the car look lower. Can't wait to put lowering springs on it :)

You've got to really, really watch those 9th Gen wheels near curbs with lower profile tires...they have quite a rim on them and if you feel anything when parking, you've just got some free wheel rash

I have a question.

The Touring stock tires are 215 50R17. I have a set of Blizzak winter tires I used for my 2013 Si that are 215 45R17. They were stock 17" rims.

I don't wanna mess anything up with the touring by mounting the stock rims onto those Blizzaks come winter (nor risk the dealer scratching my rims.), so I was wondering if I bought a set of 2013 Si rims, if I could mount those rims onto the tire and put them on my Touring. Seemed more economical than trying to sell my winter tires and buy new ones.

Apologies- I know next to nothing about tires/rims.

you could do that and it wouldnt do any harm. your speedo will be off by a little bit and it will drop your car height a little bit too
