Okay guys, so you know I had my FK Ethos RT-11C's and they were nice looking, but they are pretty heavy at about 30 lbs per wheel, which was definitely holding the car back. Also, they were only 18x8, so they didn't look all that great on a 245 tire, with a sunken in look.

Well, I just had new wheels put on today, and they are outstanding. I went with a much lighter wheel, TSW Nurburgring. They are 18x9.5 and a +40 offset, but only weigh 21 lbs per wheel. I was a little nervous that they might not fit, but there was about an inch to spare on the inner fender lining.

I have to say, I think the fitment is perfect. Anything over +40 offset(<40) sticks out too far, and the 9.5 inch width is perfectly flush looking down on it.

From a performance standpoint, they are so much better than the previous wheels. It feels like a completely different car. I'm loving them!

I've been looking into new wheels and came very close to ordering these in 18x8. Thanks for letting me see what they would've looked like.

Not a fan I'm guessing? Lol

I love mesh wheels, and these are as good as they get for under 1k! ;)

I like the black ones too. The machined finish goes really well with the chrome, and it makes the wheels stand out more. Not to mention, the performance difference is unreal. It feels like a totally different car with ~40 lbs less un-sprung weight.

Nice but you need to stay away from curbs. I like a little bit of dish in a rim, that keep curbs at bay. From the looks of it an eight inch wide rim would have fit much better with those tires. I know the tire specs out to 9.5 for a maximum rim width but pushing it to the max bows the sidewall exposing the rims.

They are very nice rims.

True, but I am always parking away from curbs anyways.

I'm not a fan of wheels with lips because it makes them look smaller. I wanted the spokes to go out to the edge of the rim so it looked bigger. And the wide wheel gives the hub a nice inset look like with the previous wheels :)

True there! I have a set of 18" flat blacks i'm going to install on mine. Very similar to that design but flat black. Lips do tend to make rims look smaller and that is the last thing you want to do when you are working with a realistic size lol Here is a pic of mine. Comments are appreciated ;)

I'd love to see how these wheels look on an Aegean Blue car. Any Photoshoppers out there that want to give a try? Love the TSW wheels, they are good quality, and look great on your car.

Turned out looking great man! I think I'll end up returning mine and just wait to go with your specs (different wheels of coarse) in the future!

Good point on the machined finished and chrome look. Im currently trying to sell the ones I have, so I can can get a new set that match the car better. Thats pretty impressive number on weight savings, over a set of rims that make the car look better also!
