Let us know how long it lasts! Nice seeing Type R’s start making big power with the stock motor.

This thing is just sick. How are its on road manners? Does it absolutely hate tires?

Nice ! Did you tuned by yourself ? which smoothing setting was the dyno graph ? Win pep 8?
Ben from Salasko Racing tuned it the first time and was there keeping an eye on it. Touched up pump gas fueling trims and turned power up until i said stop lol. Hes a motec dealer/tuner who is local to me. You really don't see him except for the 6 minute mark where he walks in front of the camera.

0 smoothing but idk what version the software is.

Some day that engine will splatter small pieces of metal all over the road. Sorry just my uneducated humble opinion. Keep us updated, please.

I think people fixate on horsepower numbers without taking into torque into account. Torque is the direct representation cylinder pressure on an engine, and while 570 is a lot of power, it *would seem that the torque numbers are within **reasonable range for stock internals. But who knows, its all a crap shoot sometimes. You really roll the dice on stock internals.

With that being said, im sure this thing pulls like a freight train. Can you post a full dyno graph?

Congrats.

Now go shut up the timeslip haters.

If so, highly recommend purchasing from Salasko Racing and E-Tuning with Ben. Taylor helped me out big time pointing me in Ben Salasko’s direction. :)

He’s the consummate pro. Specializes in Motec. Does not tune Hondata or Ktuner. Has FK8 experience with Taylor’s car (obviously heh) and mine. Maybe others. My intent is track use and conservative tune and minor compared to Taylor’s.
