I am now the proud owner of my 2018 Civic EX. I love how she handles and looks driving around, however It could be better. Looking for good first performance modifications as a start. I've heard horror stories about engine knock, or check engine lights coming on after the installation of bolt on modifications or not passing inspections. It would put my mind at ease if I got your opinion.

My car is (almost fully bolton) and through spending all most 8 grand in parts. I can’t advice this enough is to get a stage 2/3 aftermarket clutch. Cause like many people on here including me, we mod the fuck outta are cars and are clutch starts slipping or it’s blows cause the original stage 1 clutches we have are ass. So before u do any heavy engine or exhaust
Mods PLEASE GET A NEW CLUTCH before anything.

New clutch won’t be necessary right away but you’ll forsure need one eventually depending on your driving style & mods. Mine started slipping after being fbo tsp2 e35. I say go with a ktuner or hondata first then go downpipe then intake imo
